It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost a decade since our last Dartmouth Class of 1990 reunion!
While we would normally gather every five years, who could have predicted that our 30th reunion in 2020 would be disrupted by a global pandemic? After all the challenges of the past few years, we feel especially thankful to be able to gather in person again in Hanover. Whether you have been back for every reunion, or haven’t been back since graduation, we hope you will feel a little tug in your heart to come back this summer, because we miss you and want to see all of you!
We are celebrating our 35th a year early because we are once again clustered with the classes of 1988 and 1989 … so you’ll have a chance to catch up not only with your fellow ’90s, but also see ’88 and ’89 friends!
In addition to reconnecting with friends, you can visit old haunts on campus. Take a peek at your favorite (or least favorite?) dorm, finally fulfill that promise to climb Baker Bell Tower, or even enjoy breakfast at Thayer with your classmates—now known as Class of ’53 Commons. You can discover how the campus has grown and changed over the years, by visiting the recently renovated Hood Museum, the new West End of campus, or Dartmouth Hall, which was recently redesigned and made more accessible thanks to the support of a special alumnae campaign. (The historical exhibit on the bottom floor even features a few ’90 classmates–see if you can spot them!)
We are especially excited to welcome back class band Second Hand Jam, to take us on a little musical journey down memory lane on Friday evening at our reunion tent! (Read about how they originally reunited for our 25th reunion here). We may have acquired a few more gray hairs, pounds, or scars over the years, but we’re not too old to dance and sing along to the old favorites like “Brown Eyed Girl” and feel like we are 18 once again!
And now a note from our Reunion Committee Chairs!
